Sergio Espinoza

Sergio Espinoza plays the music of his homeland Perú with spirit, joy and remarkable technical skill.

A classically trained violinist, Sergio studied at the National Conservatory of Music in Lima, Perú. An accomplished flautist, Sergio plays many styles of Peruvian flutes, including sikus, and quenas.

He also plays the mandolin and charango. Seergio’s passion for the traditional music of the Andean people was handed down by his parents, who along with other family members, performed n the Peruvian Music and Dance troupe Pacha. Sergio performed with Pacha for 14 years as they toured Perú, Colombia, Spain, France and Germany.
